Through The Coaching Fellowship non-profit, the 100 Women Fund COVID-19 initiative provided four pro-bono, 1-1 coaching sessions to over 60 young women frontline leaders in 2020. These 60+ women worked the frontlines of the pandemic as doctors, social workers, educators, research scientists, and more.

Between March and December of 2020, through The Coaching Fellowship, 63 coaches volunteered to coach a total of 67 young women frontline leaders for a total of 268 hours of pro bono coaching. Many of these women sought coaching to provide support as they navigated the sudden increase in responsibilities and pressure. As their programs or services experienced a rise in demand, resources were also being consolidated during shutdowns. The initiative supported women experiencing burnout, frustration of leading effectively while navigating increased red-tape, bureaucracy and leading through uncertainty. Women coachees indicated the coaching sessions they received allowed them to create a larger impact on their communities (100% of respondents indicated 4 or higher on a 5-point scale).
